She looks calm. Rainbow mane, golden horn, wings out, nose in the air — she's just standing there waiting to be dressed up. Sunglasses, a handbag, a saddle, a party hat. What could go wrong?

Everything, eventually. This unicorn has a temper and a hair trigger. Players take turns adding accessories, one careful piece at a time, and at some point — nobody knows when — she rears up and launches the lot into the air. Whoever set her off is out.

It's the classic build-the-tension party game formula, done in rainbows and glitter. Fast to learn, fast to play, and the payoff is a shriek and a scatter of tiny sunglasses across the floor every single round. Best played with a group, on a rug, with someone willing to crawl under the couch afterwards.

2 or more players needed

Take turns dressing the unicorn

Be gentle — she's temperamental

Parts go flying when she rears up

Steady hands win. Everyone else just laughs.
