1. The Kidstuff Clubhouse
1.1 The Kidstuff Clubhouse is Kidstuff’s customer loyalty program. Members earn Toy Tokens on eligible purchases, which convert to a discount coupon each January, and receive other member benefits described on our website.
1.2 The Kidstuff Clubhouse replaces the former Kidstuff Rewards program. Members of Kidstuff Rewards were transferred to the Kidstuff Clubhouse automatically and do not need to re-register.
1.3 Membership is free. Toy Tokens and coupons have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
2. Membership
2.1 Membership is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. One membership per person. Kidstuff employees and their immediate families are excluded.
2.2 You can join free of charge in any Kidstuff store or online at kidstuff.com.au. You must provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date via your online account.
2.3 Membership is personal to you. Kidstuff may decline, suspend or cancel a membership where these terms are breached, where fraud or abuse is suspected, or where an account is inactive beyond the Token expiry period in clause 3.6.
3. Earning Toy Tokens
3.1 Members earn one (1) Toy Token for every one dollar ($1) spent on eligible purchases at Kidstuff stores in Australia and at kidstuff.com.au, where the membership is identified at the time of purchase.
3.2 Eligible purchases exclude gift card purchases, delivery and other service fees. Kidstuff at its discretion may also exclude products and or brands and will communicate this in advance and which may change from time to time.
3.3 Toy Tokens are calculated on the amount actually paid after any discounts and refunds are deducted.
3.4 Kidstuff may offer bonus Toy Tokens through promotions from time to time (for example, bonus Tokens for following Kidstuff on Instagram), subject to any additional conditions published with the promotion. Bonus offers are limited to once per member unless stated otherwise.
3.5 If a purchase is refunded, the Toy Tokens earned on that purchase will be deducted from the member’s balance. This does not affect any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
3.6 Toy Tokens are valid for two (2) years from the date they are earned. Expired Tokens are removed from the member’s balance and have no value.
4. Annual Conversion and Coupons
4.1 On 1 January each year, the Toy Token balance of each qualifying member converts automatically to a discount coupon. A member qualifies if their balance is one hundred (100) Toy Tokens or more on 1 January.
4.2 Tokens convert in blocks of fifty (50): each complete block of 50 Toy Tokens converts to $2.50 of coupon value (for example, 100 Tokens = $5, 250 Tokens = $12.50, 600 Tokens = $30).
4.3 Toy Tokens that do not convert — balances under 100, and any remainder above a complete block of 50 — roll over and continue counting toward the following year’s conversion, subject to the two-year expiry in clause 3.6.
4.4 Coupons are delivered electronically to the member’s registered email address (and/or by SMS). Members must be opted in to receive marketing communications from Kidstuff to receive their coupon (see clause 6). Coupons may take up to 7 days to be received.
4.5 Coupons are valid from the date of issue until 30 June of the same year, and can be redeemed once, in full, at any Kidstuff store in Australia or at kidstuff.com.au. Coupons cannot be extended, replaced after expiry, exchanged for cash, or applied to gift card purchases.
4.6 Tokens equal to the converted value are deducted from the member’s balance at conversion.
5. Birthday and Other Member Benefits
5.1 Members may register the birth dates of up to two (2) children on their account, in store at sign-up or later via their online account. Registered birthdays receive an annual birthday offer (“birthday surprise”) delivered to the member’s registered email address. Birthday offer terms are stated in the offer itself and may change from time to time.
5.2 Members receive complimentary gift wrapping on in-store purchases, at participating stores, while the benefit remains part of the Kidstuff Clubhouse.
5.3 Kidstuff may offer members additional benefits from time to time, including member pricing on selected products, early access to offers, and member-only promotions. Each benefit is subject to any conditions published with it and may be changed or withdrawn.
6. Communications
6.1 Coupons, birthday offers and Kidstuff Clubhouse communications are delivered by email and/or SMS. To receive these, members must be opted in to Kidstuff marketing communications and keep their contact details current.
6.2 Members may unsubscribe at any time. Members who are not opted in remain members and continue to earn Toy Tokens, but Kidstuff will be unable to deliver their coupon, birthday offer or other Kidstuff Clubhouse communications while they remain unsubscribed.
7. Privacy
7.1 Kidstuff collects and handles members’ personal information (including children’s birth dates provided by the member) to operate the Kidstuff Clubhouse, in accordance with the Kidstuff Privacy Policy available at kidstuff.com.au. Children’s birth dates are used only to provide the birthday benefit.
8. General
8.1 Kidstuff may amend these terms, or vary, suspend or discontinue the Kidstuff Clubhouse (in whole or in part), at any time. For material changes, Kidstuff will give members reasonable notice by email or by notice on kidstuff.com.au. Changes do not affect coupons already issued.
8.2 Kidstuff’s decisions on Token balances, eligibility and conversions are final, subject to clause 8.4. Members can query their balance by logging in to their account or contacting Kidstuff customer service.
8.3 Kidstuff is not responsible for a member’s failure to receive communications or coupons due to inaccurate contact details, unsubscribed status, or circumstances outside Kidstuff’s reasonable control.
8.4 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Kidstuff Clubhouse benefits are in addition to your statutory rights.
